...I'm not asking for easy, I'm asking for doable...
It's hard to imagine myself in any other place in my life than right now. Even thinking of when Sophia will get here seems like so far away, even if it's not.
Lately it seems to be one storm after another. No matter how big or how small these storms are, they aren't easy.
For example, we are dealing with a mercury spill in our kitchen which has ruined PJ's wedding ring, anniversary ring and his ring with the kids names engraved on it. He was devastated. Luckily we have a very good angel who helped us get a new wedding ring so his finger would not be bare. We still cannot spend too much time in kitchen for another week, but as long as I can cook again and we can stop eating yucky fast food, I'm ok with that! This has taken up WAY too much of our time from last friday until today with 2 visits FROM the health department and a trip TO the dr. Because of that we missed PJ's sisters play and a little girl's 3rd birthday party. THAT was stressful! Not to mention the guilt!
Another cloud rolled in and PJ's unemployment benefit end date was this last saturday, so we have to re-apply for benefits this wednesday and wait to see what they do. Realistically all we will have to do is just finish out this tier of unemployment and call it good :) Hoping & Praying.
PJ goes back to "school" the first week in december to take a real estate course to get his license (he's taking it with his Dad). Again we are praying for a good job to come along, but I hope that it comes after that or they will work with him on it because it's non refundable class.
We've been taking these storms just like eating an elephant, one chunk at a time. As stressful as it is, we seem to be holding together pretty well. I'm proud of us, its taken a LOT out of us. I can't say its been easy, and I've been more stressed than I have needed to be but it's working out ok.
After the stress of the storms, the rainbow after is amazing. That's what I look forward to, God showing us the rainbow.
