Thankful Thanksgiving

Every person I know has commented today on what they are thankful for. I can't help but follow suit. Hey it's Thanksgiving after all!


First and foremost I am thankful for a loving God who guides, protects and teaches. Thankful that He knows that even though we pray, all things will happen in His time... not ours...and exactly when we need it.


I am SO thankful for my sweet children! Whenever I look into their eyes I feel a sense of fullness and absolute love that only a mother can feel for her children. The joy they bring me can not be outdone. I am thankful and blessed to be called their Mom.


I am also thankful for such an amazing husband who stands along side me, loves me, guides me and will most importantly will do anything for his family. I love him more than anything and thank God every single day that I have him.


Speaking of family I am thankful for them too...close family, extended family, in-laws and my friends who might as well be family! Can't go through life alone, you will always need someone next to you, whether it be to hold your hand or smack some sense into you. 


Remember this Thanksgiving: It's better to lose count while counting your blessings, than to lose your blessings by counting your troubles.
