NapNanny & Sleep Buddies

Sophia has been sleeping in a NapNanny since she was moved out of the swing. It was best for her reflux. Now that she is outgrowing the reflux she has wanted to be in the nap nanny less and less… BUT hates the crib. The nap nanny has been in the crib so it’s not unfamiliar to her, but maybe she remembers the reflux when she laid in there before? Who, knows! But she can’t cry it out because excessive crying causes her to reflux (and who likes listening to that? I’m not strong enough!!!!)

Last night it started out with Hannah in our room. We have a toddler bed set up in there for midnight visits from scared and sleepy little ones. Then Phillip came and slept in the recliner in the other corner of the room. Sophia woke up crying and didn’t want to be put back to sleep in the NapNanny, so she was in bed with us…and Roxy always sleeps on the floor next to the bed, so she made 6 “people” in one room.

Since the kids are still getting over their cold, there were plenty of coughs, sniffles and snoring. It wasn't the most restful night sleep ever, but the kids enjoyed it!

Side note: The NapNanny has been a lifesaver for us. Even though it’s pricey, I would repurchase it 20 fold because of the relief Sophia got from sleeping in there! Besides, have you felt one? They’re comfy! They aren’t just for reflux babies either! Ahhhmazing. Visit: http://www.napnanny.com/ There's no weight limit! Hannah climbs in there all the time and says how comfy it is! We also got "permission" to use it in the crib and because of her reflux, we put the AngelCare monitor underneath so we could tell if she aspirated. It is a sweet setup!
