We had Sophia's x-rays done this weekend. We should get the results in a few days. Hopefully though, the rickets has improved and we will be good to go.
Today PJ comes home on lunch, we load up the kiddos in the van and he eats in the van while I drive him back to work. Then I drop the older 2 off with my sister, take Sophia to the GI's office (where hopefully I don't have to argue too much and everything goes as smoothly as possible) then downstairs to the PT/OT office to hand them the paperwork, then to pick up the older kiddos and then to pick PJ up from work.
I'm exhausted just typing it!
In other parts of my life. I had a good friend point out that life is going so fast. I agree. (did you read what I am doing today?) We are all so busy. It seems like there isn't much time for fellowship let alone just a moment for myself.
I am coming to the harsh realization that Sophia will be 1 soon. ONE! How did that happen? Even though it's been a hard road with her medically, I feel like she's getting so big and I don't know how it happened! It's going to be 2013 soon. The world will have "ended"...again... and we will start another year.
Just to interrupt myself here...I've had to get up TWICE because my beautiful, smart, sassy 3 yr old thinks she can fly and ends up getting hurt every.time. She has these costumes with wings (and just wings themselves that she can wear anytime) and she's a "little" attached to them. She loves them. She also loves to think she can jump off anything and fly. Sigh. I love her imagination but not the bruises they leave. She doesn't get discouraged either, which I think is just her pigheadedness showing through, she tries and tries some more. I love her.
Luckily, today anyway, my son is quiet. He had a nightmare last night and is pretty clingy. Not that I mind, he won't do this forever. He has, however, asked 134,675,238,423 times for egg nog; make that 134,675,238,424 times because he is currently asking "Excuse me Mommy, can I plllleeeaaasseeee have some pumpkin egg nog?!"
Gotta get the kid some egg nog. And fold these 5 loads of laundry that have piled up from my sick days...and...well the list is too long...
